Concerts and shows to check out July 4th weekend in Dallas and Ft. Worth 2017
The July 4 holiday is fast approaching and with the summer heat in full swing, many are looking for a way to get outside and enjoy the holiday. The Dallas/Ft. Worth area has a number of great events happening over the holiday weekend including a number of great concerts guaranteed to satisfy lovers of all genres. Here are just a few options.
Classic rocker Roger Waters will be bringing his massive Us + Them Tour to Dallas on July 3. The high-tech tour will feature a number of Pink Floyd classics as well as some songs from Waters’ latest solo release Is This the Life We Really Want?, which features the single "Smell The Roses." Tickets for the show can be purchased through AXS here. The show is all ages and tickets start at $55.
Rock staples Boston are back out on the road on a co-headlining tour with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. The Hyper Space Tour will be making a stop at the Starplex Pavilion on June 30. Pop/punk band All Time Low will be hitting the Dallas area on July 1 when they hit the stage at the House of Blues. The band is touring behind their latest release Last Young Renegade, which features the single "Dirty Laundry." Tickets for the show can be purchased here. Fort Worth staple Brad Hines will be playing on July 4 at the White Elephant Beer Garden. Hines’ sets include a wide mix of originals and covers. He is likely to pull out everything from Merle Haggard to Pink Floyd to Creed. The show is free and open to those 21 and up.

Country legend Willie Nelson has launched a new music festival that will be making a stop at the Starplex Pavilion on July 2. The show will feature a number of other acts as well, including Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow and the Avett Brothers. The festival will also feature local cuisine and artists.
