The New York area is one of the best places to celebrate the 4th of July.

Not only will it have one of the largest celebrations in America, but it will also have a plethora of events that will be geared to the entire family, and if you’re in the market for a nice family event, check these five out.

Coney Island will be packed on July 4th weekend, and all weekend long, one of the most historic amusement parks in the nation will put on a multitude of events throughout the park and in the surrounding area that will bring in Uncle Sam’s birthday. Oh, and you’ll be treated to an awesome fireworks display as well.

International African Arts Festival
