2 killed in an early morning crash on Grade Lane in Louisville

Two are dead after a fatal crash on Grade Lane in Louisville.Around 2:45 Friday morning, the LMPD responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 6700 block of Grade Lane. Early investigations show that a passenger vehicle was southbound on Grade Lane between Fern Valley Road and Outer Loop. It appears for some unknown reason, the driver of the vehicle lost control, ran off the road and struck a concrete barrier causing the vehicle to catch fire. As a result, the driver and passenger, both females, received fatal injuries and were pronounced dead on the scene. The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating. The ages of the victims are not known at this time.
