ALP axes term ‘mother’ from official policy platform

Sky News host Rita Panahi says the ALP has “axed the words ‘mother’ and ‘breastfeeding’ from its official policy platform, as reported by the Daily Telegraph”.

“In fact, the current policy document doesn’t mention the word ‘mother’ once and instead refers to ‘people’ and ‘individuals who are pregnant',” she said.

Ms Panahi said this was the reason the Opposition Leader was referred to as ‘each-way Albo’.
