Energoatom and American Westinghouse signed an settlement at the provide of nuclear gas to all nuclear energy plant (NPPs) in Ukraine on June 2 on the website online of Khmelnytsky NPP, the corporate instructed Interfax-Ukraine on June 3.

“In connection with the refusal to purchase Russian nuclear fuel, Energoatom agreed with its strategic partner, Westinghouse, to increase the supply of American nuclear fuel for all Ukrainian nuclear power plants,” the corporate stated.

In addition, on June 2, Energoatom and Westinghouse signed two extra agreements at Khmelnytsky NPP: on expanding the collection of nuclear energy devices to be constructed the usage of the AP 1000 era in Ukraine from 5 to 9 devices, and on organising the Westinghouse engineering and technical middle in Ukraine.
