India’s Jet Airways a step closer to flying again

Defunct Indian airline Jet Airways is a step nearer to getting its air operator certificates to begin business flights. India’s house ministry has granted a safety clearance to Jet Airways and the airline is making plans to restart flights in the following couple of months, the Press Trust of India reported.

The civil aviation ministry not too long ago despatched a letter to the airline pointing out it’s been granted safety clearance through the house ministry. The letter mentioned it used to be “directed to refer to your application … to convey security clearance for change in shareholding pattern of the company/firm, for scheduled operator permit, on the basis of security clearance received from the Ministry of Home Affairs,” the inside track company added.

Last week the airline performed a take a look at flight at Hyderabad to turn out to aviation regulator the Directorate General of Civil Aviation that the plane and its elements have been running generally.
