Kazakh leader takes aim at socio-economic, political paradigm

On March 16, the president of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jamart Tokayev, delivered his State of the Nation speech to the joint consultation of the Houses of Parliament: “New Kazakhstan: Path of Renewal and Modernization.” In some ways, it used to be a outstanding speech as a result of he didn’t tiptoe round tricky problems going through the country and confirmed few indicators of hyperbole or artificiality.
