A statewide abortion ban could be back in place in Kentucky by this weekend.The state’s Court of Appeals is considering a motion to reinstate it. On Thursday, Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Mitch Perry blocked a statewide ban on the medical procedure after two clinics challenged the “trigger law.”The law was designed to immediately ban abortions as soon as Roe v Wade was overturned. Attorney General Daniel Cameron has now asked the Court of Appeals to undo Judge Perry’s order. All the parties involved had until Friday evening to respond. A spokesperson for the court says a decision could cover over the weekend.
