Liberal Party needs to let women ‘have a voice’: Katherine Deves

Former Liberal candidate for Warringah Katherine Deves says women were the “forgotten people” in the last federal election. 

“They need to have a voice,” she said. 

“The Liberal Party needs to accept the fact that women make up 51 per cent of the population.

“Issues need to be considered not as fringe and niche, but as integral to whatever social policies there are.”
