Memorial Day events in the Tri-State



EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — This Memorial Day the Tri-State is honoring the women and men of the army who’ve fought and died for our freedom.

  1. Alexander Memorial Park on Mesker Park Drive will dangle a carrier at 9 a.m. Volunteers wish to arrive via 8:30 a.m.

2. Sunset Cemetery will dangle its carrier at 10 a.m. outdoor the Chapel of Peace on Saint George Road. The rite may also be are living streamed on Facebook.

3. The LST 325 will host a rite at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning and can come with a 21 gun salute and the taking part in of faucets.

4. Oak Hill Cemetery will dangle its annual Memorial Day carrier at 11 a.m.

5. The Veterans Memorial Foundation will dangle its products and services from 10 a.m. till midday close to the fountain in Central Park in Henderson.

6. The annual Memorial Day Walk for the Fallen is ready for 9 a.m. Monday in Owensboro. The stroll begins following a brief rite on the Shelton Memorial subsequent to Smother’s Park.
