NASA using X-ray telescope to study black holes

NASA has launched a new X-ray telescope to study black holes to look at what is creating “high energy particles,” according to ANU astrophysicist and cosmologist Dr Brad Tucker.  
  
“The idea to look at, kind of, the big engines that are creating what we call lots of high energy particles,” he told Sky News Australia.  
  
“Black holes spew things out into space, so do stars when they explode, or even dead star; they’re kind of big energy factories.” 
  
Dr Tucker said “usually the only way” to see these particles was to look at high-energy colours of light and said the penetrative light X-rays emit works to help see what is in a black hole.
