New charter school to open in Harveston in 2023


A brand new Okay-12 constitution college, Great Hearts, will open its doorways in August 2023 within the Harveston building on Bluebonnet.

New Schools for Baton Rouge, which recruited Great Hearts, a Texas-based college with a focal point on liberal arts training, filed a $12 million allow for the primary section of the constitution college on Thursday.

The first section of development, which already started, is for a kindergarten thru eighth-grade development, says Sarah Turner, government director of amenities for New Schools, and is ready to be finished by way of May 2023.
