Lufthansa’s Swiss starts flights next summer between Zurich and Odesa

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana launched last week transfers from Kyiv-Delhi through its base airport in Almaty. Air Astana can fly through Russian airspace, which saves time and money.

Wizz Air has started flights between Kyiv Sikorsky and Stockholm-Skavsta, its main Scandinavian hub.

Turkish Airlines’ discount carrier, AnadoluJet last week started flying three times a week between Istanbul and Odesa.

Turkish Airlines plans to increase its flights to Kharkiv by 50% next spring, to twice a day.

Ukraine’s Bees Airline starts flights this week from Lviv to Barcelona, Kyiv Sikorsky, Prague and Tbilisi.

Ukraine’s Air Ocean Airlines started flying last week between Lviv and Zaporizhia. These are the first Lviv-Zaporizhia flights since the Soviet era

Qatar Airways has started flying twice a day between Doha and Kyiv Boryspil. On Dec. 9,  it started flying three times a week between Doha and Odesa.

Flydubai plans to resume flying to Dubai, Jeyhun Efendi, its commercial director says.

Vueling has started flying twice a week between Paris Orly and Kyiv Boryspil.

Ukraine’s SkyUp Airlines plans to increase its jet fleet by 50% next year, to 22 planes. Next summer it plans to fly a total of 100 routes from five cities: Kyiv Boryspil, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa and Zaporizhia. Last year, it increased its staff by 50%, to 1,200, and carried a record. 2.6 million passengers.
