NYPD Surprise School Crossing Guard on Her Last Day of Service

The New York Police Department’s 43rd Precinct paid tribute to a school crossing guard on her last day of service, after more than 20 years on the job. This footage posted to Twitter by the NYPD shows Deputy Inspector Keiyon S. Ramsey presenting Elizabeth Olmo with a bouquet of flowers, while other officers applaud. In a Twitter post the precinct said: “For 20 years School Crossing Guard Elizabeth Olmo has been on post making sure our children crossed safely. Today, on her last day of service we surprised her”.
