SA Police recover body of teenage girl

The body of a teenage girl has been recovered from the Murray River by South Australian Police. 

The teenager fell from a house boat late Friday into the river – 130 kilometers north-east from Adelaide. 

The 17-year-old was located just after 2pm on Saturday, following an extensive aerial, ground and water search. 

Residents say the river contains submerged debris and is known to be a dangerous area.
