Tyler Reddick wins pole for Sunday’s NASCAR race on IMS road course

Tyler Reddick will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to the green flag on Sunday afternoon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.The Richard Childress Racing driver won the Busch Light Pole on Saturday for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. “It’s huge for us and our team,” Reddick said. “The last time we were at a road course, we won at Road America and we missed a little bit in qualifying there. So, it’s a bit of redemption for us to get the pole.”It’s Reddick’s second career Cup Series pole. His pole lap was 99.378 mph, just faster than Austin Cindric’s lap of 99.095 mph. Cindric will start second in Sunday’s race.
