UK students raise awareness for suicide prevention

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ)- Hundreds of University of Kentucky scholars walked the streets round campus Saturday, elevating consciousness for suicide prevention.

For the 6th 12 months, campus organizations teamed up with non earnings for the yearly Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk.
Students raised $32,000 this 12 months with that cash going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Organizers say the objective is to get other folks to speak about suicide prevention and tactics they may be able to in finding assist.
