Westpac charging dead customers is ‘absolutely sickening’

Westpac charging dead customers is “absolutely sickening,” according to Sky News senior reporter Caroline Marcus.

Westpac have agreed to pay $113 million in penalties, including an $80 million remediation to customers after charging 11,000 dead customers.

“Not only were they charging dead people, they were charging people fees for services where there were no services rendered,” Ms Marcus told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
